What We’re All About
Kōura means ‘gold’ in Māori language, and Manuka Honey has been widely regarded as liquid gold due to its uniqueness and limited quantity. Kōura also means 'crayfish' , our honey brand is from Kaikoura which is known for crayfrish. Each Batch of Kōura honey is laboratory certified with methylglyoxal-MGO standard.
Kōura Brand started in 2015 from Kaikoura, a touristic costal town, north of Canterbury, South Island, New Zealand.
Where Does Kōura Honey Come From?
For nearly 10 years in the honey trade business, we have contacts and we collaborate with trusted beekeepers in mostly Kaikoura and Marlborough region of NZ.
This year, we will be sourcing more from the East cape area for higher grade MGO Manuka Honey to expand our current range.
